- What are cookies?
There are various types of cookies, depending on their characteristics and functions. Cookies may remain on the user’s computer for different periods: so-called session cookies, which are automatically deleted when the browser is closed; so-called persistent cookies, which stay on the user’s device until a set deadline.
Technical cookies, which do not require express consent for their use, include also:
- “analytics cookies”, when used directly by the website operator to collect information, in aggregate form, about the number of users and how they navigate on the website,
- navigation or session cookies (required for authentication purposes),
- function cookies, which allow the user to navigate according to a series of selected criteria (e.g., language, products selected for purchase), in order to improve the service provided.
Instead, “profiling cookies” require the prior consent of the user, i.e. cookies designed to create users’ profiles and used to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user when navigating on the internet.
- Types of cookies used by the Site
The Site uses only third parties’ technical cookies, which may be de-selected according to the relative methods of selection and de-selection of the respective cookies (see below).
It should be noted that third parties are typically independent data controllers of the data collected through their cookies; the Controller disclaims any responsibility in relation thereto. You should therefore refer to their policies for processing personal data, information and consent forms (selection and de-selection of the respective cookies). For the sake of completeness, it should also be noted that Indaco tracks cookies on its website to the utmost. These are regularly updated in the following table, where we provide transparency on the cookies directly sent by the Company and their purpose. With regard to third parties sending cookies through our Site, we provide the following links to their respective privacy policies. As already mentioned, we refer to these third parties the responsibility to provide the information and collect your consent. This responsibility refers not only to the cookies that third parties send directly, but also to any additional cookies that are sent through our Site by virtue of the use of services that third parties themselves use. With respect to these cookies sent by service providers of the aforementioned third parties, Indaco does not have the ability to exercise any control and does not know neither the characteristics nor the purpose.

The user may also block or delete (in whole or in part) technical and functional cookies using the specific functions of the user’s browser. However, we inform you that not allowing technical cookies may make it impossible to use the Site, view its contents and use its services. Inhibiting technical cookies may result in certain services or features of the Site no longer being available or not working properly and the user may be required to change or manually enter certain information or preferences each time he or she logs on the Site.
The choices made with respect to the Site’s cookies will also be recorded in a cookie. However, this cookie may not work properly in some circumstances: in such cases, we suggest deleting unwelcome cookies and inhibiting their use also through the functions of the user’s browser.
The user cookie preferences will need to be reset if different devices or browsers to access the Site are used.

- Duration of cookies
Some cookies (i.e., session cookies) remain active only until the browser is closed or the logout command is executed. Other cookies “survive” the closing of the browser and are also available on subsequent visits by the user. These cookies are called persistent and their duration is set by the server at the time of their creation. In some cases a deadline is set, in other cases the duration is unlimited.
- Methods of processing
The Controller carries out the processing with automated tools. In addition, the Company transmits personal data if it is necessary for the fulfilment of specific obligations for which the collection of consent is not required.
- Rights of the data subjects
Users have the right, at any time, to obtain confirmation of the existence or non-existence of personal data and to know their content and origin, verify their accuracy or request their integration or updating, or correction (Articles 15 and 16 of the GDPR).
In addition, data subjects have the right to request the erasure, restriction to the processing, portability of data and to oppose in any case, for legitimate reasons, to their processing (Articles 17 et seq. of the GDPR).
